21 Day Vipassana Foundation Course
For first time participants wishing to acquire the complete foundation skills of insight meditation

Please elect the day you wish to arrive and commence the course – there are no set starting days. Only on 'Wan Phra', days 1 time per week opening and closing ceremonies will only be conducted the following day. Up to 21 days Vipassana insight meditation practice with daily insights from your dedicated buddhist monk instructor 'Phra Ajahn' (in Thai, English & French). Learn the traditional teachings of the four foundations of mindfulness and Vipassana Meditation. This course are for beginners or those who have practiced alternative practices. You will learn the traditional techniques of insight meditation as pioneered by Phra Ajahn Thong Sirimangalo, one of Thailand's most revered grand master buddhist monks. The 3 practices of mindfulness meditation as taught by Buddha himself 2,500 years ago : mindful prostration, walking meditation from 2-6 steps and sitting meditation from two step observation of rising-falling, to 4 step observation and 28 touch points. The 21 days is recommended that students can properly condition their minds and bodies over two weeks and prepare for the final 3 days determination, where a total commitment is necessary to attain the rewarding outcome of insight & clarity of mind/body. For stronger students or students with time limitations, it is possible to complete the training in up to 2 weeks. All private accomodation, training, meals and other facilities are provided at no cost. We only ask for consideration of a contribution towards the program and future students on departure. * Air Conditioned units are also available on request, which we ask for a daily fee of THB300 to cover the running costs.
